Verdant Voyage Publishing was founded in 2024 by Lorenzo Hill, a passionate voice for food sustainability and community resilience.

Lorenzo’s journey began in 2020, when he set out to find a new hobby and discovered the world of homesteading. Raising Coturnix quail opened his eyes to much more than farming. It revealed the hidden challenges of our food systems, the importance of biosecurity, and the fragile relationship between healthy ecosystems and human well-being.

Through hands-on experience, Lorenzo witnessed how habitat loss, environmental change, and food insecurity are all connected. These lessons shaped his mission: to share knowledge, inspire action, and build a stronger connection between people, food, and the land.

At Verdant Voyage Publishing, Lorenzo brings together storytelling, education, and a love for nature to offer books and resources that empower readers of all ages to grow, learn, and make a difference one small step at a time.
